Opentrons
In 2018, Opentrons was a scrappy Brooklyn-based life sciences automation startup that needed to tell their brand story to a wide array of customers including life scientists, bio hackers, and lab managers. At the same time, they had to educate investors about their market and their brand.
Video was the best way to bring the brand to life. What started as a month-long video production blitz became a years-long creative relationship. Today, Opentrons is a $1.8 billion company, and I still produce videos that help sell robots and communicate with customers.

DAMP Lab testimonial
The DAMP lab at Boston University were early adopters of the OT-2, Opentrons’ super affordable, market disrupting robot. Justin and the Opentrons team traveled to Boston to hear about their experiences.
Democratizing Lab Robotics
Justin was deeply inspired by Opentrons’ mission to democratize lab robotics. How can we accelerate the speed of life science, make automation accessible to smaller labs, and solve the world’s biggest problems?
The answer: affordable lab automation.
